| Mona Doyle is a widely quoted consumer researcher and advocate who heads The Consumer Network and publishes the monthly Shopper Report newsletter. Her industry career has included supermarkets, communications, banking, department stores, packaging, and computers. She presently serves as public member of the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy, on the executive board of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of the Delaware Valley, and on the Editorial Board of Brand Packaging magazine. Mona has been a member of the Institute of Management Consultants, the Qualitative Research Consultants Association and Philadelphia’s Forum of Executive Women. She is a former board member of the Better Business Bureau of Greater Philadelphia the University of Tennessee Waste Management Center and a current member and past president of the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals in Business. She has appeared as a consumer expert on Face the Nation, Good Morning America and National Public Radio and her shopper insights are frequently quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Advertising Age, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. She has also appeared on the pages of Business Week, Fortune, Changing Times, The Washington Post, and The Washington Times. An honors graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in psychology, Mona has done graduate work at Temple, Drexel and Cornell Universities. She is editor-author of Packaging Strategies: Winning The Consumer. On the personal side, Mona has two children and three grandchildren, and extended family circle, and an active circle of friends. She exercises daily and has a special affinity for water, walking, tennis, when her injured Achilles tendon permits, almost anything in print, movies, and informal entertaining for a wide circle of friends and neighbors. |
